Nowadays, everywhere they ask for your CV and cover letter. Whether you're a student just applying for higher education or a graduate student, you're guaranteed to come across this requirement in almost every application for education, internships, jobs, and any other positions.
Writing a CV and cover letter remains a challenge for even the most seasoned careerist, but when you're just making your way out of high school or university it's significantly more difficult. However, much to the relief of any inexperienced applicant, you don't even need experience to write a great CV or cover letter.
The whole thing is much simpler than it seems at first glance. Everyone just needs a little basic information to become an expert in writing their own documents and in this workshop we will cover the basic principles you need to follow. Together we will look at:
What is a CV?
What are the differences between a CV, resume and resume?
How do you write such a document without any experience?
What is a cover letter?
What are the differences in a cover letter when applying for a university, internship or job?
...and any questions you send us in advance.
The workshop will be led by Dea - career expert, CV and cover letter writer for 2+ years and current student at Uppsala University in Sweden.
