Woosong University Exchange and Visiting Student Program

Woosong University is located in Daejeon, South Korea, and offers a unique opportunity for international students to study abroad, even if their university is not a partner. As a "visiting" student, you will be part of the Woosong community and will receive an academic transcript after the semester.

Who can apply: Students from universities without a partner agreement can enroll as "visiting" students. It is important to check with your university whether Woosong credits will be recognized and transferred back.

Required Documents:

• Proof of English language proficiency (e.g. IELTS, TOEFL)
• Copy of passport (personal data page)
• Certified copies of current academic results
• University enrollment certificate
• Letter of acceptance

Additional requirements for applicants from non-OECD countries:

• Two certified hard copies of the enrollment certificate – one for Woosong and one for the local embassy/consulate when applying for a visa.
• Proof of financial means: Bank letter in your name, certifying the availability of a minimum of 6,000 USD. The letter must be issued no more than one month ago, stamped and signed by the bank. If the letter is not in your name, you must provide proof of relationship with the account holder.

Application Process:

1. Complete the online application and submit the required documents.
2. Pay the application fee of USD 50.
3. After verification of documents, schedule an interview.
4. After a successful interview, you will receive an acceptance letter and invoice.
5. Pay the tuition and enrollment fees.
6. Send the certified documents to Woosong University.
7. The university will verify the documents and send the visa documents to your address.
8. Apply for a D2 visa at the Korean embassy with the provided documents.
9. After receiving the visa, coordinate your arrival
